Position Summary
Are you a detailed professional with a knack for appealing motion graphics? Blue Ocean Enterprise is seeking a talented Video Editor to join our dynamic team. This role will spearhead the production of direct response assets across our marketing channels. This role will have a direct impact on customer acquisition and business growth.

The mission for this role is to produce short and long-form marketing videos that use storytelling to sell e-commerce products online. The ideal candidate will be a nimble editor, proficient in Adobe Premiere and creative suite. This person should be able to meet tight deadlines while also having a strong sense of visual and graphical aesthetics that make their videos pop. As a Video Editor you will work directly with the Creative Strategist and other team members to edit commercial-quality video and audio and edit that footage into a complete video ad creative.

Responsibilities
* Work with the marketing team providing briefs with ideas to be developed into finished video content that aligns with our brand identity and marketing objectives.
* Edit and assemble raw footage into polished short-form videos optimized for social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
* Incorporate graphics, animations, and special effects to enhance visual appeal and engagement.
* Perform post-production editing including: editing, titling, color correction, after-effects, sound mixing
* Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and quality across all video content.
* Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing and social media marketing.

Requirements
* Proven experience of at least 2 years as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in short-form video content creation. Preferably worked for a marketing agency or e-commerce brand in the past
* Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
* Solid understanding of social media platforms and their video requirements.
* Creative thinking and storytelling skills with a strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* Professional experience developing, editing and delivering engaging motion graphics
* Ability to multitask, wear multiple hats, work well and meet deadlines.

Bonus Skills:
* Experience with motion graphics and animation.
* Knowledge of basic color grading and audio editing.
* Familiarity with e-commerce, UGC and retail industry trends.
