Video Editor for Social Media Content

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and creative Part-Time Video Editor to join our team and help us enhance our social media presence. The primary responsibility of this role is to edit short-form videos for our social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing, be proficient in using After Effects, final cut or devinci and have the ability to create high-quality, engaging content. We run a fitness page and will need to create a mix of informational, inspirational and workout content.

Responsibilities:
– Edit 5-10 short-form videos per week with a quick turnaround time.
– Work closely with the founder to understand the vision and goals for each video project.
– Add captions, make precise cuts, and insert B-roll footage to enhance video quality.
– Ensure all videos align with our brand’s mission and vision.
– Continuously improve video content to increase engagement and traction on social media.
– Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing and social media content.

Qualifications:
– Proven experience in video editing with a portfolio of previous projects.
– Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and other video editing software.
– Strong understanding of social media platforms and what content performs best on each.
– Excellent command of the English language.
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
– A passion for health, fitness, and well-being is a plus.
– Willingness to grow with the company and take on more responsibilities over time.

Work Environment:
This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home.
Schedule:

Part-time role, editing 5-10 videos per week.

Compensation:

Starting salary of $350 per month for $20 Videos.
