Video Editor for TikTok Series

We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team and work on our exciting new TikTok series. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing our interview-style videos, showcasing how people spend and make money, into engaging and trend-worthy content. The videos will typically be 5-10 minutes long, and you will need to cut them down to just over a minute, ensuring captivating captions, sound effects, and seamless edits. We aim to create videos similar in style to popular TikTokers like Caleb Simpson and Gabriel Desanti.

Responsibilities:

Edit interview-style videos into short, attention-grabbing content for TikTok, adhering to the desired style and format.
Cut down videos to approximately one minute while maintaining the essence of the conversation.
Incorporate engaging captions that highlight key points and draw the viewer’s attention.
Add relevant and trendy sound effects, transitions, and visual effects to enhance the overall viewing experience.
Ensure high-quality video and audio output.
Collaborate with the content creator to align with their vision and brand.
Stay up-to-date with TikTok trends and styles to create fresh and appealing content.
Requirements:

Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
Strong understanding of TikTok trends and editing techniques.
Excellent storytelling skills and ability to condense longer videos into concise, engaging content.
Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Familiarity with adding captions, sound effects, and transitions.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with the content creator.
