Video Editor For YouTube and Hormozi Style Reels

We are on the hunt for a dedicated and passionate Video Editor, who can think/operate outside of the normal video editing box, who loves audio engineering / mastering, and enjoys building video assets with captions, SFX, and natural in-video transitions. The ideal candidate should be able to understand spoke English to be able to interpret removal of un-natural umms/ahhs and unnecessary gaps; extremely high attention to detail where every video, snippet, audio, etc is produced to close-to-perfect studio quality and who has expertise with editing interview or speaker based videos.

You will be a crucial part of a company that specialises in editing, optimising and publishing Podcasts for some of the world’s largest podcasters and your role will be to ensure more people interact with their brand and convert.

Responsibilities:
– Edit videos into a new layout and design
– Create highly engaging visuals (eg, that changes between angels – even if from the same camera, add captions, add intro/outro, etc)
– Audio mastering where background noise is removed, high pitches are reduced, etc
– Interpret and understand what hosts and guides are talking about to know whether to remove a section or leave it
– Extract short video snippets and optimise for social media, youtube, etc
– Build videos that have high engagement and interaction

Skills:
– Video editing
– Audio mastering and engineering
– Productive level editing with SFX, animations, etc
– Embedded transcription, captions, headings, etc
– Punctual with the delivery of tasks
– Fluent level of spoken and written English

Experience:
– Video editing (eg, experience with working in a tv station, radio station, youtube channel, etc)
– Proven solid work experience of 2-5 years
– Experience in using Adobe Premier and Adobe Audition

Knowledge/ qualifications:
University-level education (desirable but not mandatory)

Availability: Working Full Time Australia business hours (Monday to Friday, 6AM – 3PM PH Time)
Internet: Fast and reliable, with a back-up option available (either at home or internet cafe)
