**Responsibilities:**
As a Video Editor on our team, you will be responsible for:
– **Strategic Content Planning:** Collaborating on content ideation, shoots, and editing, aligning with our marketing campaigns.
– **Video Production:** Planning and executing short and long-form video shoots, including filming and editing.
– **Content Writing:** Creating compelling copy to accompany video content.
– **Content Distribution:** Regularly uploading content to our website and social media channels.
– **Social Media Management:** Managing social media strategies and scheduling posts.
– **Content Repurposing:** Transforming existing content into new, engaging videos.
– **Staying Current:** Keeping up with the latest social media trends and best practices.
– **Team Collaboration:** Working closely with the marketing team and other departments to maintain consistent messaging and branding.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
– Proven experience as a video editor with a portfolio of high-quality work.
– Proficiency in Final Cut Pro (knowledge of other editing software is a plus).
– Strong attention to detail, with an eye for aesthetics, lighting, composition, color grading, and graphics.
– An understanding of audio editing and the ability to set appropriate levels for dialogue, music, and sound effects.
– Experience in content creation and social media management.
– A passion for creating engaging and viral content.
– Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
– A deep understanding of branding, visual storytelling, and digital content trends.
**Requirements:**
– Fast computer computer with harddrive space
– Video editing software
– A stable and fast internet connection with a minimum download speed of 40 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
– Availability to work remotely and collaborate effectively with the team.
– A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
– Creativity, energy, and a passion for creating captivating videos.
