Video Editor – Full Time – Canadian Company

This is an amazing opportunity if you are the right person for it…
You get to work full time for a well paying Canadian company and learn and grow your skills in the process.
I need someone who thinks like a video producer and not merely a video editor.
*** (Ideally a female, but everyone is welcome to apply!
For whatever reason.. I’ve had far better experiences hiring female creatives than males in the past.)
We produce content for our clients’ Facebook, YouTube and TikTok advertisements.
Here are the most basic requirements;
#1 – The *Biggest* requirement is fluent English. If you are very good at English, this puts you ahead of all other applicants.
#2 – You need to be reliable with turnaround times.
#3 – Be resourceful and go the extra mile to deliver on projects – There’s no cap on creativity here.
#4 – You need to have at least 1-2 years of video editing experience.
#5 – Be willing to work on tasks outside of video editing, like content research, and using AI voice tools to create narrations (we will provide training for everything.)
#6 – You need to adhere to set daily hours and around 30 to 40 hours per week.
That’s about it!
Your workflow can look like this…
#1 – We hand you off a text script
#2 – You use some of our AI tools to turn that script into audio narration (We’ll provide training)
#3 – We provide footage and general direction on what’s needed (or tell you what content to find and use)
#4 – You produce multiple versions and share back with the team

But you also need to be excellent at listening to feedback.
We’ve done this for a long time and simply know what works and what doesn’t for online content.
I’m also looking for someone who’s fun to work with..
A warm personality and a can-do attitude are critical.
(A sense of humor won’t hurt either! lol)
