Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and a meticulous eye for detail, ensuring that each video we produce is a masterpiece. This role requires extensive experience in real estate media, proficiency in editing for various social media platforms, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit a variety of video content including listing videos, welcome home videos, talking head videos, podcast videos, event videos, and documentaries.
Produce behind-the-scenes and day-in-the-life videos that capture the essence of our work and team.
Develop engaging content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Instagram Shorts, and other social media platforms.
Ensure all videos are rendered with the perfect settings for each platform.
Source and incorporate trending audio tracks to enhance video content.
Perform high-standard color grading, particularly S-Log3 footage from Sony cameras.
Implement modern and trendy editing techniques, including speed ramping and dynamic transitions.
Create eye-catching thumbnails that drive viewer engagement.
Manage large file sizes and ensure smooth rendering and exporting processes.
Maintain a high-speed and stable internet connection to facilitate efficient workflow.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of real estate and social media content.
Expertise in storytelling and creating engaging video narratives.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
Advanced knowledge of color grading, particularly with Sony S-Log3 footage.
Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results with minimal feedback.
Strong technical skills, including managing and rendering large files.
Reliable computer system capable of handling large video files and complex projects.
High-speed and stable internet connection.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in creating thumbnails and other visual assets for social media.
Strong understanding of SEO and metadata best practices for video content.
Background in real estate media production.
