Video Editor / Graphic Designer

My name is Ben, I am from the UK. Currently living out in Thailand.

I welcome you to my job offer.

I am looking for a part-time (with option to extend to full-time, depending on performance) video editor / graphic designer.

I run an e-commerce business, which has been active since November of 2023. It is specifically via the drop-shipping model whereby the stock is managed and fulfilled by a 3rd party. I sell various products in various niches – the main ones currently are within the beauty niche and health / wellbeing niche. I will be happy to share the websites of these businesses and everything in further detail on the next stage.

I also plan to grow my personal social media accounts on Instagram & Youtube. These are both brand new ventures, the long term objective of both of these would be to help inspire / educate younger individuals from the UK or any country to live a better life, free themselves to be able to make money online and live a healthier lifestyle. I have someone following myself and others who I am living in Thailand with around on a daily basis taking pictures and videos of us, this raw footage would then need to be edited to make IG Reels / YT Shorts and also for longer form content on YT ranging between 5-15 minutes.

Please note: The social media is the secondary task out of the two. The e-commerce side of the business will be the primary focus initially.

The goal of this job application is to have someone who is a professional with Canva and or any other similar photoshop / designing platform, as well as a professional with Capcut and or any other similar video editing platform.

For the graphic design task: I or someone from my team will provide pictures of the products themselves, but it will be up to you to create cool, branded designs of the products making the stores look professional, clean and branded. The aim of this is to appear branded and / or to even branch out to branding these stores in the future. It will also dramatically help to increase the Conversion rate on the store as customers will see it to be much more trustworthy with better quality designed, branded images.

For the Video Editing task: I or someone from the team can provide the raw footage, or guide you in the direction of where to obtain the footage from online for the video edits. This is dependant on whether we have filmed the raw footage of the products ourselves, or whether we are only using content online. If we have filmed the raw footage of the product ourselves, then we will send this footage across to you via Whatsapp or Google Drive. If not, then we will guide you where to look for the videos online such as Tik Tok, IG, YT or any other online platform that will have videos of people using or talking about the product. This would then be used to advertise on Instagram, Facebook & Tik Tok. The video ads length will range between 15-60 seconds long. The general goal of this is to engage customers, have as many as possible want to click through to the website after seeing the advertisement. This task requires a lot of creativity as there will be many different styles of hooks that can be tested and storyline that can be tested to see which particular type of video ads perform the best for the particular product.

The role will be part-time initially, with potential to work full-time. If after a few weeks there is great performance, then we can increase to full-time.
