Job Description: Video Editor and Graphic Designer

We are seeking talented and creative individuals to join our team as a Video Editor and Graphic Designer. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in producing engaging and visually stunning videos for our audience.

Position 1: Video Editor

Responsibilities:

• Edit and enhance video footage to create high-quality long and short form content for various platforms, including but not limited to YouTube, social media, and our website.
• Collaborate with the content creation team to understand the video objectives, target audience, and desired style.
• Trim, rearrange, and optimize video clips to ensure seamless flow, clarity, and engaging storytelling.
• Enhance videos with color correction, audio adjustment, and visual effects to create a visually appealing final product.
• Add intros, outros, text overlays, and captions to videos to enhance viewer experience and accessibility.
• Utilize preferable Final Cut or Capcut (knowledge of other video editing software is a plus) to edit and produce videos efficiently.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques and tools to continuously improve the quality of our videos.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
• Proficient in using video editing software, preferably Capcut.
• Solid understanding of video editing principles, storytelling, and visual composition.
• Strong creative and artistic skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
• A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is highly desirable.

Position 2: Graphic Designer

Responsibilities:

• Create visually appealing and engaging design assets for thumbnails for our video content that effectively captures the attention of our target audience.
• Collaborate with the content creation team to understand the video content and create thumbnails and any other brand designs that align with the brand and style guidelines.
• Design eye-catching graphics, illustrations, and other visual elements to support video content and promotional materials.
• Ensure that all graphic designs are consistent with the brand’s visual identity and maintain high-quality standards.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and techniques to bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to the team.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent.
• Strong creative and artistic skills with an excellent understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and composition.
• Ability to create engaging and attention-grabbing thumbnails that accurately represent the video content.
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently to meet project deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with the content creation team.
• A portfolio showcasing previous graphic design work, specifically thumbnails and related designs, is highly desirable.
