Job Description:
Lush Digital is seeking a talented and creative Part-Time Video Editor to join our team on an as-needed basis. The primary responsibility of this role will be to edit sizzle reels and short videos that showcase the projects, achievements, and innovations of our construction company clients. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit raw video footage into engaging sizzle reels and short promotional videos for construction companies (and other clients.)
Collaborate with our creative team to understand project goals, target audience, and desired outcomes.
Incorporate visual effects, graphics, and music to enhance the overall quality of the videos.
Ensure all video content aligns with the client’s branding and messaging guidelines.
Perform color correction, audio adjustment, and other post-production tasks to ensure high-quality outputs.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality work on time.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing and construction marketing.
Requirements:
Expert Level After Effects Proficiency. If you are not an expert in AfterEffects – PLEASE DO NOT apply.
Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio showcasing sizzle reels and short promotional videos.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Premier, or similar tools – required.
Excellent English speaking.
Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and timing.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate with clients to understand project details.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Experience with sound design and audio editing.
Experience with motion graphics and animation.
Basic understanding of color grading.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with social media platforms and their video requirements.
