Video Editor (Premiere Pro) + Basic Graphic Design

PRIMARY SKILL: Long-form YouTube Editor (using Premiere Pro ONLY)
– Must be very experience in editing with Premiere Pro and have advanced level of English
– Follow an editing workflow that is already established on an already successful Youtube channel (Review YT TimHarrisVideo to see the style of videos)
– You will be editing narrated screen recordings (removing gaps, mistakes, ensuring spoken content matches screen-recorded content, smoothing audio gaps/glitches)
– Accessing and choosing stock footage to use as overlay footage, adding gifs and memes (using your creativity)
– Adding on screen text/graphics/images and sound effects
– Doing occasional dynamic scaling of recordings using keyframes to guide the viewers eyes
– Adding in occasional transitions/jumpcuts/gifs/movie-memes, with sound effects, to break up the video and keep the viewer interested
– Using your judgement to select footage from within your edit to use as overlay footage in the video introduction
– Reformatting the long for content to create 2 or 3 “YouTube shorts”
– Be able to submit draft edits, receive feedback and diligently make revisions exactly as asked
– Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency

SECONDARY SKILLS: Basic graphic design (Photoshop, Canva) + AI image/video generation
– Search for and manipulate logos and photos from google search / stock photo search to appear inside the video
– Use generative AI from inside Photoshop to manipulate photos
– Use your creativity with Playground AI / Leonardo AI to create AI generated images to add interest to the videos
– Use AI video generators to create memes / AI videos to add interest to the videos
– Bonus if you can use Adobe After Effects to help with the above

GROWTH SKILLS:
– Screen recording / narrating of AI apps (to be discussed in a few months)
– Minor Youtube Channel admin tasks (to be discussed in a few months)
You will be starting with 20 hours per week, and as our working relationship develops into a great workflow, it will become 30 hours, then 40 hours over time.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
– Legitimate current subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud
– Fast internet connection (min 10Mbps up/down)
– Qualified candidates will need to do a test edit in the next stage of hiring
