Video Editor (Remote)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing raw audio and video recordings into polished, professional-quality videos for our subscription-based online courses. To be effective in this role, your work must effectively reflect our brand’s identity.

Responsibilities:

Edit raw audio and video recordings to create engaging video content for our digital course.
Enhance audio quality by removing background noise, adjusting levels, and adding sound effects or music when necessary.
Incorporate visuals, such as graphics, images, and videos, to complement the audio content.
Collaborate with the content team to ensure that the final product aligns with the overall vision and messaging of each video content.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in podcast editing and production.
Manage project timelines and deliver high-quality work on schedule.

Requirements:

Proven experience in video editing, preferably in the podcasting or digital media industry.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Strong understanding of audio editing techniques and software, such as Adobe Audition or Audacity.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency in style and tone.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and find innovative solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
A passion for webinars and digital courses and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of our programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with motion graphics and animation.
Knowledge of podcast hosting platforms and RSS feeds.
Familiarity with SEO principles and strategies for optimizing podcast content.
Previous experience working with remote teams or distributed workflows.
