Video editor (short-form & long-form)

We’re a digital marketing agency looking to work with a video editor (5-10 hours per week), with the potential to grow into a full-time role.

This role is ideal for someone experienced who can work with minimal supervision.

**The role**

You will take raw .MP4 video files and edit them to a high standard. This will mainly involve transcribing and trimming short (1- 3 minute) videos with minimal graphic work that will be uploaded on Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn; however, it will occasionally include editing and trimming longer (20-30 minute) videos for YouTube.

We are not looking for Alex Hormozi-style videos. Just videos that are clean and simple.

**Key responsibilities**

– Create high-quality edited videos from raw .MP4 files that can be uploaded to various social media platforms
– Transcribe videos using automated software
– Export files in multiple aspect ratios (1:1, 16:9, 9:16) so the videos are tailored to each platform
– Provide edited videos within 1-2 working days of receiving raw files

– You are a strong communicator: you keep stakeholders in the loop with constant updates, clear communication and timely responses
– You are organised: you can work towards deadlines and manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously
– You have accountability: you take ownership of your role and given responsibilities, ensuring work is performed to a high standard
