The Position
This is an exciting role for an experienced Video Editor/Social Media Assistant looking to go to the next level in their career working for a dynamic Australian-based ecommerce business in the beauty industry. We are in search of a superstar Assistant who is self-directed, enthusiastic and wants to be part of a growing company making a big impact in the world.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Digital Marketing Assistant to help drive online growth and build a strong brand presence. We are currently seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Video Editor/Social Media Assistant to execute the marketing strategy. You will also be required to do some General Admin and Customer service support.

Hours (in Philippine Time):
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

VIDEO EDITING + GRAPHIC DESIGN FOR SOCIAL MEDIA
– Edit and assemble raw video footage into cohesive and engaging video content.
– Trim, cut, and arrange clips to maintain a smooth flow and narrative structure.
– Ensure video content is properly timed and synchronised with audio.
– Adding captions, intros and outros.
– Create visually striking graphics and visual elements to be incorporated into videos.
– Use graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or Canva) to develop original assets.
– Incorporate branding elements, such as logos and colour schemes, into videos and graphics.
– Adapt video content and graphics for different social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube).
– Creating engaging content for social media platforms, including social media reels.
– Experience with repurposing a piece of content across multiple platforms.
– Supporting the CEO with general admin and customer service tasks.

Skills, Experience & Requirements
– A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Video Editor and Graphic Design,
– At least 3 years of experience as a Virtual Assistant working online for US, Australian or European clients.
– Experience with social media management.
– Competent in Canva. Capcut and other editing software tools.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content for various digital platforms, – -including social media reels
– Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
– Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
– Eagerness to learn and stay current on digital marketing trends and best practices.
– Experience with video editing and graphic design tools, such as Capcut, Filmora, Adobe Creative Suite or Canva, is a plus.
– Experience of working in the fashion and beauty industry, a bonus, but not essential.
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
– Experience working from home, remote, and 100% online.
– Team player with strong collaboration and project management skills.
