VIDEO EDITOR SPECIALIST

Martin Media is a video production company specializing in creating captivating corporate commercials for local businesses and organizations in Kenai, Alaska. We are looking to bring on another full-time video editor to craft beautiful, engaging content for our clients.

Position: Video Editor Specialist
Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time
Pay: $600 a Month

Responsibilities:

Edit both short form and long form videos that make clients look professional and attract attention on social media.
Incorporate professional edits, sound design, music, title cards, and other elements to create polished final products.
Manage and edit content for 2-4 clients per month, ensuring all videos meet our high standards and are delivered on time.
Produce 90 minutes of content and 90 micro content pieces per month, along with 20 long form videos.
Daily check-ins and check-outs with the team to review progress and plan tasks.
Follow the Final Approval Checklist rigorously to ensure all edits are of top quality and free from errors.
Use tools such as Adobe Suite, Premiere Pro, Loom, Zoom, Click to view, Story Blocks, Artlist, ChatGPT, and Whatsapp to streamline and enhance the editing process.

Daily Tasks:

Participate in a group chat for daily check-ins and check-outs.
Maintain a detail-oriented mindset, actively reviewing spelling and quality revisions on Click to view.
Prioritize urgent projects and refer to detailed editing instructions.
Organize project files meticulously, following sequence naming, file naming, color codes, and markers.
Select appropriate music and B-roll, ensuring all selections are current and relevant.
Export daily outputs, upload, and organize them on Click to view.
Communicate effectively with team members and respond to comments and messages promptly.

Weekly and Monthly Tasks:

Attend weekly team meetings and one-on-one sessions with team leads.
Participate in team calls every Tuesday at 10am (Alaska Standard Time).
Engage in ongoing training sessions to enhance skills and stay updated on editing techniques.
Qualifications:

Must be Proficient in Adobe Suite, especially Premiere Pro.
Strong understanding of video production and editing principles.
Excellent attention to detail, especially regarding spelling and grammar.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a remote team.
Prior experience in editing corporate commercials or similar content is a plus.
