Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate Video Editor who can take our video content to new heights. If you have an eye for detail, a knack for storytelling, and a love for fishing, this role is for you. Dive into hours of raw footage and emerge with engaging videos that captivate, educate, and entertain.

Key Responsibilities:

– Edit raw footage into 4 to 12-minute long-form videos for YouTube, ensuring smooth transitions, coherence, and high-quality production.
– Create multiple short-form videos tailored for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
– Integrate captions, digital infographics, and other graphic elements to enhance the storytelling and educational aspects of the content.
– Collaborate closely with the team to ensure the video’s message aligns with our brand voice and purpose.
– Produce at least 3 variations of each video, experimenting with the different intros and hooks provided.
– Work within tight deadlines to deliver 5 finalized videos per week.
– Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing and suggest innovative ideas to elevate our content.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a video editor.
– Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
– Strong sense of pace and timing, ability to create engaging narratives.
– Basic knowledge of sound editing.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
– Familiarity with the various social media platforms and their video specifications.
– Bonus: A love for fly fishing or a keen interest to learn about it!

Compensation & Work Hours:

Hourly rate starting at $4.
Full-time position with 40 hours per week.
Potential for growth and increased compensation based on performance and company’s growth.
