Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented creative powerhouse, adept at crafting engaging video content and eye-catching thumbnails primarily using stock media, including images, video clips, and audio. This role demands a unique blend of creativity, research skills to find the perfect media elements, and technical proficiency in video editing and graphic design. You’ll work closely with our content strategy team to understand the essence of each project and use your creativity to produce compelling videos that resonate with our audience. We are looking for someone who knows what is attractive and what is NOT attractive when it comes to Audio/Visual.

Key Responsibilities:

Create engaging YouTube videos from concept to completion using stock imagery, video clips, and other pre-existing media, supplemented with high-quality editing and sound design.
Design captivating thumbnails that grab attention and encourage click-throughs, utilizing graphic design software and stock images.
Source and curate the best stock media that aligns with content themes, narratives, and brand guidelines.
Collaborate with the content team to develop creative concepts and ensure each video meets our high standards for storytelling, accuracy, and engagement.
Optimize videos and thumbnails based on YouTube best practices and SEO strategies to maximize reach and viewer engagement.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines.
Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing, thumbnail design, and YouTube content creation to continually enhance the quality and effectiveness of our videos.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create compelling content using stock media.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
Exceptional ability to source and creatively integrate stock images, video clips, and audio into engaging video content.
Strong understanding of YouTube platform specifics, including SEO, thumbnail design, and viewer engagement strategies.
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote work environment.
Creative thinker with attention to detail and a passion for storytelling.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a virtual team setting.
