Job Overview:
Our Video Editor/Creator will ideate, produce, and edit videos for client and internal projects. You’ll use camera recordings, sound effects, and graphics to create social media short videos (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), short videos for advertising, and long-form videos when needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Collaborate with client teams to understand the vision and objectives for each video project
Utilize your creativity and storytelling abilities to enhance the video content and engage the target audience effectively
Incorporate relevant branding elements and ensure consistency with each clients’ visual identity
Edit videos in a timely manner, meeting scheduled deadlines for content release
Optimize videos for various social media platforms, considering their specific requirements and formats
Stay updated on current social media trends and best practices to ensure the content remains relevant and appealing
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm new video concepts and ideas for continuous improvement
Maintain an organized library of video assets for easy access and future reference.
Other Responsibilities:
Attend agency-wide meetings (2x/monthly)
You will check in with the team a minimum of twice per day, via Slack
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills in editing and producing social media content
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools, as well as video editing in Canva
Solid understanding of social media platforms and their video requirements
Aesthetic sense and ability to create visually captivating and engaging videos
Strong storytelling skills and ability to craft narratives through editing
Attention to detail to ensure high-quality video output
Ability to work independently and remotely, meeting deadlines consistently
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multiple client teams
Experience with project/team collaboration tools such as Slack and Notion
Native English speaker and writer, or exceptional command of American English
Own an up-to-date laptop with Microsoft Office Suite, a smartphone, and have reliable high-speed internet
