Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor/Videographer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and marketing objectives. This individual should have a strong understanding of video editing techniques, storytelling, and the ability to create visually compelling videos. The Video Editor/Videographer will collaborate with our marketing and content teams to develop engaging video content that effectively communicates our message and engages our target audience.

Responsibilities:

– Capture high-quality video footage using professional cameras, equipment, and techniques.
– Edit and assemble raw video footage, ensuring seamless transitions, visual effects, and appropriate pacing.
– Incorporate sound design, music, and visual effects to enhance the overall video quality.
– Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to develop creative concepts and video ideas that align with our brand and marketing objectives.
– Manage and organize video assets, ensuring files are properly named, backed up, and stored.
– Stay up to date with industry trends, techniques, and technologies in video editing and videography.
– Ensure timely delivery of completed video projects, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
– Conduct video shoots on location, including setting up lighting, audio, and camera equipment.
– Collaborate with the post-production team to ensure a smooth transition from shooting to editing.
– Maintain and troubleshoot video equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Videography, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
– Proven experience as a Video Editor/Videographer, showcasing a strong portfolio of work.
– Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
– Strong understanding of cinematography, lighting, and composition principles.
– Excellent knowledge of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
– Experience with motion graphics and visual effects is a plus.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
– Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
– Flexibility to work on evenings and weekends, as needed, to meet project deadlines.
– Knowledge of photography and graphic design is a plus.
