Video Editor with Editing experience (and love of comedy online)

Hi there,

I am looking for someone – ideally part time – for 10 – 20 hours a week to help me with editing, subtitling and some basic graphic design.

Please only email me if you have experience editing videos already – I only ask this because I posted once before, and I got so many replies I couldn’t get through them all and the people I did reply to didn’t get back to me!
So with this message I’m giving a lot more detail and asking for more specifics.

I can’t guarantee I will get back to everyone (sorry!). Though I will do if I can.

I am looking for someone to:

Edit some clips for me for Instagram, tighten them, and put subtitles on them.

The applicant ideally needs:
1 – Experience editing Stand Up Comedy
2 – Good English (In order to be able to spot spelling mistakes and hear conversational English)
3 – A good sense of style (for making visually compelling thumbnails and edit choices.
4 – Has a good sense of humour (So please let me know the handles or names of the instagram comedy performers you like)

If you are sending examples of your work I would like direct links to your previous work (Please don’t send me a googledrive link as these can be problematic) but feel free to include direct links to the instagram or youtube edits you are proud of that you have already done.

HOW THE JOB INTERVIEW WILL WORK
I will be choosing the top 4 applicants.
To those top 4 applicants I will send a wetransfer file with 3 tasks for you to do.
I will pay you for 4 hours work to do those tasks. within 5 days.

1 – You have experience editing for social media already
2 – You have time over the next 5 days to do the interview
3 – You have solid english
