About two years ago, I’ve started a passion blog called with the mission to enable our readers to make a positive impact on the world & society. Now, we receive hundreds of thousands of visits every month with our content and are ready to take the next step and start adding a YouTube video podcast, with long-form content and Shorts too!
For this, we are looking for you to join our team as our video editor to increase our positive impact together!

Here are some of the main tasks:
***
–> I’ll get started on regularly conducting video podcasts with some impactful individuals and your main job would be to make this video interview publish-ready for YouTube!
—–> You’ll use different frames, depending on who is speaking (side-by-side for me, zoomed in for our guests)
—–> You adapt the sound levels to make the sound output for each speaker level
—–> You cut out long pauses where needed
—–> You’ll “punch-in” (aka zoom in) when noteworthy points are made to increase viewer retention
—–> You add text overlay to our intro sections
—–> You cut in our standard transitions for both the intro and end screen
–> For each video, you also create about 3 long-form YouTube clips (5-7 minute sections of the whole interview), the aim would be to create these even more engaging
–> And for each video, you’ll also prepare about fast-paced 5 YouTube shorts

Key requirements:

–> You deeply care about making a positive impact on the world & society
–> You have previous video editing experience and feel comfortable with all the above main tasks
–> For the beginning: You’ll be able to create our videos based on concrete examples that I’ll share with you for each of our specific sections
–> You love to grow together with us and are happy to learn along the way to continuously create even more engaging videos
–> Excellent command of English (C2 level) as you’ll be responsible for choosing the right content based on our video interviews
–> A computer with sufficient resources to complete editing tasks, as well as the programs/ apps you need to use
–> Desire to develop your own editing style
–> Desire to learn with feedback and with additional research and training
