Video Editor – YouTube Specialist

I am looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor who specializes in YouTube content creation. As our Video Editor – YouTube Specialist, you will be responsible for editing and enhancing video content to produce high-quality videos for our YouTube channel.

*Responsibilities:

-Edit and enhance raw video footage to create compelling and engaging YouTube videos.
-Incorporate visual effects, graphics, and animations to enhance video quality.
-Ensure seamless transitions, proper pacing, and synchronization of audio and video elements.
-Collaborate with the content team to understand video objectives and deliver visually appealing and on-brand content.
-Optimize video content for YouTube, including creating attention-grabbing thumbnails and writing compelling video titles and -descriptions.
-Stay up-to-date with YouTube trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to enhance video performance and reach.
-Edit and repurpose existing video content for different platforms, such as Instagram and Facebook.
-Maintain an organized library of video assets and ensure proper file management.

*Requirements:

-Proven work experience as a Video Editor, preferably with a focus on YouTube content.
-Must have familiarity with Descript
-Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
-Solid understanding of YouTube platform, including SEO, analytics, and monetization strategies.
-Strong storytelling skills and ability to enhance video narratives.
-Knowledge of various video formats, codecs, and resolutions for optimal video quality and delivery.
-Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
-Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the content team.
-Familiarity with YouTube copyright and licensing regulations.
-Ability to adapt to changing trends and experiment with new editing techniques.

*Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience in creating and editing vlogs, tutorials, and other popular YouTube video formats.
-Knowledge of motion graphics and animation software, such as Adobe After Effects.
-Understanding of YouTube analytics and ability to make data-driven decisions to optimize video performance.
-Experience with video SEO techniques, including keyword research and metadata optimization.
-Familiarity with YouTube channel branding and design guidelines.
