Video Production Project Manager

We are a content marketing agency based in Hattiesburg, MS USA, looking for a project lead to join our team! We create a range of content including social media short-form punchy videos, high-end podcast interviews, educational videos, and YouTube-style videos.

As the Video Project Lead, you will be responsible for managing the entire video editing process for our clients. This includes working with clients to understand their needs, overseeing the video editing team, and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

PH Graveyard Shift Full-Time; Working hours are 9am – 6pm, Monday to Friday, United States Central Standard Time with 1hr lunch.

Salary: $70,000 PHP/mo

Management Responsibilities:

• Proficient in juggling multiple projects at once and meeting deadlines effectively using PM system while managing teams and output
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing communication and gathering all necessary project details
• Lead the video editing team, assigning tasks and ensuring that all projects are completed on time
• Oversee the video editing process, whether that be via delegation or at times execution including selecting and organizing footage, making edits, and adding graphics and effects
• Work with clients to make revisions and changes to videos as needed
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure that projects meet the needs and expectations of clients
• Continuously improve processes and workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Review all edited videos to ensure that they meet the highest quality standards and align with the client’s vision
• Monitor the video editing team’s work to ensure that all videos are free of errors and meet the required technical specifications
• Implement and maintain quality control processes and procedures to ensure that all videos meet the required standards
• Conduct thorough testing of videos to identify and troubleshoot any issues before delivery to the client
• Work with the video editing team to identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during the editing process
• Collaborate with other team members to continually improve the quality of videos produced by the agency.

Technical Responsibilities:

• Ability to understand the subject matter of the recorded content and formulate the best way to present it through editing (particularly with podcasts that span a range of topics)
• Have good judgment when it comes to selecting different takes for scripted and non-scripted content
• Experience with assembling talking-head footage and b-roll, basic color grading (Lumetri in Premiere Pro is fine), chroma-keying, sound design, lower thirds and titles
• Attention to detail with sound design including removing background noises, applying an EQ, smoothly transitioning cuts together and adjusting levels for voice and background music
• Tasteful selection of stock music and stock footage
• Attention to detail when adding subtitles to videos – most of our videos use American English spelling
• Experience with editing footage using a proxy workflow
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator. Familiarity with After Effects is a bonus, but we can teach you
• Ability to follow style guides and instructions (video and written SOPs)
• Fluent in English with tertiary level education or equivalent
• Experience working in an agency environment

Applicants MUST have access to the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, with advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects; and basic proficiency with Photoshop.
