Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our team on a contract or part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in editing various types of video content, including short-form social media videos, long-form cinematic content, promotional videos, and video ads. You will be an integral part of our creative team, collaborating closely with us via Slack and ready to take on projects as they arise.

Responsibilities:

Edit a wide range of video content, from short social media clips to long-form cinematic videos for landing pages, as well as video ads.
Collaborate with the creative team to understand project scope and objectives.
Create visually compelling and engaging video content that aligns with the brand and marketing goals.
Utilize advanced editing techniques, including color correction, sound design, and motion graphics.
Ensure all video content is delivered on time and meets the highest quality standards.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Stay updated on the latest video editing techniques and industry trends.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of video projects, including video ads.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and other relevant tools.
Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively via Slack.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with motion graphics and animation.
Knowledge of sound design and audio editing.
knowledge of coloring video content.
Understanding of marketing and branding principles.
Experience working in a remote and collaborative environment.
