Job Title: Virtual Assistant – Resume Writer
Job Purpose:
The Resume Fix is hiring for a rockstar Virtual Assistant (VA) – Resume Writer who will be responsible for overseeing resume writing project workflows from beginning to end. This is a hybrid role that mixes the best of both worlds – virtual assistance and resume writing! The ideal VA will have previous experience as a Resume Writer which is a MUST for this role. The VA will work closely with clients, writers, and other team members to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will be organized, have a strong eye for detail, and possess excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee all aspects of resume writing projects, from initial client consultations to final project delivery
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and writers, providing regular updates on projects’ progress, and answering any questions or concerns they may have
• Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and workflows
• Ensure that project goals and objectives are clearly defined and communicated to all clients
• Work closely with writers to provide guidance, feedback, and support throughout the writing process
• Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that resumes are error-free and meet all client requirements
• Complete up to two rounds of client edits/revisions within timeline
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure that resume writing projects are integrated into the job assistance and recruiting processes
• Manage client relationships, resolve issues, and ensure 100% client satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of project activities, milestones, and outcomes
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery and quality
• Must have the professionalism and self-confidence to take direction, to ask questions, to clarify tasks, and to receive constructive feedback with a positive and receptive attitude
• Must be able to work closely with the owner of the company, learn quickly and consistently apply feedback to improve upon your skills where identified
• Complete other administrative tasks and special projects where required
JOB DETAILS:
You will receive remote training and will be able to work from home. In addition to hourly salary, you will have the opportunity to earn bonuses for taking on additional resume writing assignments as needed (resumes, LinkedIn profiles, cover letters, biographies, etc.).
• Job Type: Full-Time, Monday through Friday 9 am to 6 pm
• Salary: $3.50 per hour USD or $630 per month, paid weekly via Wise or Payoneer
• Bonuses: Paid per project
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree in business administration or a related field
• MUST have previous experience working as a Resume Writer
• Resume writer certification such as a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW) is a plus! (preference given to those with this or similar certification)
• Project Management certifications are a plus!
• Minimum of 2 years of resume writing experience, emphasis is placed on experience obtained within resume writing agency environments
• Ability to edit career documents to include resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles to perfection
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, writers, and team members
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive client relationships
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to highest quality workmanship
• Technically savvy and proficient in project management software, CRM, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for helping individuals secure their dream job through effective resume writing
• Ability to write and edit additional projects as needed
This is a full-time position, and the Virtual Assistant will work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. They will report directly to the company’s owner and collaborate closely with other team members to achieve shared goals. The salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
