Duties will include but not be limited to:
-Monthly Reconciliations
-Proficiency in Accounting Principles: possess a solid understanding of accounting principles, ensuring that financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported in compliance with relevant regulations.
-Tax Return Preparation: adept at preparing various tax returns, including 1120, 1120S, 1065, and 1040 forms, enabling clients to meet their tax obligations effectively and efficiently.
-Financial Document Preparation: have experience in preparing essential financial documents such as income statements and balance sheets, which provide valuable insights into an organization’s financial performance.
-Bookkeeping: Preparation of books, which includes reconciling cash accounts and creating balance sheets to maintain financial accuracy. Proficient in cleaning up bookkeeping records through QuickBooks, ensuring that financial records are organized, accurate, and compliant with accounting standards. Regularly review and scrutinize bookkeeping records for accuracy, preventing errors and discrepancies that may impact financial reporting.
-Can conduct financial projections for tax planning purposes, assisting clients in making informed decisions to optimize their tax obligations.
-Payroll Management: Have the capacity to run payroll for clients, handling necessary forms such as 941, 940, W-2, and 1099s, both for clients and internally within the organization.
-Client Communication: Effective communication with clients is a must, ensuring that their financial needs and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
-Teamwork and Management: I am experienced in both contributing to and managing accounting teams, fostering collaboration, and achieving collective goals.
-Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering high-quality services and demonstrating a commitment to client satisfaction.
-Deadline Management: Prioritize and manage multiple tax preparation tasks, meet filing deadlines, and ensure clients are compliant with tax obligations.
-Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, tax law changes, and tax planning strategies through ongoing professional development and training.
