THE ROLE WE ARE HIRING FOR
You will be responsible for day to day communications with the guests via email and Online Travel Agencies such as and Airbnb.
Our guests order firewood and other extras for their stay with us and you would co-ordinate this with the guests and communicate these to the team on the ground so that they can make sure everyone has whatever they need to enhance their stay with us.
There will also be other administrative and research-based activities as the need arises.
You will be supporting me by making sure everything is running smoothly to free up my time to develop the business and take us to where we need to go, and also assisting with small tasks to support the growth of the business as the need arises.
Social media upkeep and marketing, using AI to create content where necessary/applicable.
DAILY TASKS
– Email correspondence with guests
– Maintenance of the Booking System and other tools such as pricing tools
– Maintenance of the Online Travel Agencies
– Communication of guest requirements to the team on the ground
– Social media upkeep – responding to messages from followers and marketing of the business as guided by me and generated by use if AI tools.
– Other administration tasks as required by the business
– Research tasks as directed by me on an ad hoc basis
We use a variety of online platforms each day but primarily Eviivo, which is a channel manager and bookings system. We also frequently use Airbnb and .
As the successful candidate develops into the role, they will be given access to systems such as Stripe as required, and Dext to support our bookkeeping each month. We will probably delegate responsibility for ordering supplies for site to the candidate in time and as such they will inherit responsibility for ensuring that all invoices and receipts for online purchases are added to Dext for this purpose.

PAY AND HOURS
The starting rate for this role will be: $4 starting however this would increase above $5,5 or more than $6 depending on how well you perform over time. There may be scope for professional qualifications in time and increased earnings as a result.
This position is available from the beginning of September.
This is a long term position.
Provisional Schedule Working Hours: This can vary depending on how much email traffic we get on a day to day basis. Guest emails can come in at any time of the day or night. We currently respond to them as quickly as is reasonably possible but the key thing is to have the extras for that day organized and communicated to the team on the ground by 10am GMT/BST, however further emails can be received throughout the day which may require urgent attention.
We ask that this be monitored just in case but no need to sit at a desk waiting for them to come in. Just check in from time to time outside of normal working hours.
Other tasks will be required which are less time sensitive and these can be discussed at the time. This would include ad hoc requests from me.
You will be available for approximately 30 hours a week but potentially more as demand dictates. This is approximately 3.5 hours a day, 6-7 days a week on average.
We offer one day’s paid leave for every 80 hours worked. This covers holiday/sick and public-holidays.
We would consider funding professional qualifications if we felt there would be value in this for the business
