Job Post Description:
We are a dynamic AI therapist startup working on developing an innovative platform called “SommerAI.” Our vision is to provide personalized mental health support through expressive writing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and a social connection platform. As we progress with our groundbreaking project, we are seeking a Virtual Assistant from the Philippines to support our customer acquisition efforts, specifically focusing on reaching out to potential investors and setting up meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Virtual Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Researching Investors: Conducting thorough research on potential investors who align with our mission and vision. This involves using platforms like LinkedIn to identify relevant individuals and collecting their contact information.
Personalized Email Communication: Crafting personalized and emotionally impactful emails to investors, highlighting the unique value proposition of our AI therapist platform. Your communication should resonate with investors and spark their interest in learning more about SommerAI.
Creative Customer Acquisition: Assisting in brainstorming and implementing creative strategies to acquire customers, such as sharing our website on startup directories, identifying blogs related to negotiations, and finding innovative approaches to reach our target audience.
Hard Skills:
Proficiency in English.
Familiarity with Trello (training will be provided).
Experience using Google Drive and Google Spreadsheets or Excel.
Competency in Gmail (training will be provided).
Basic knowledge of LinkedIn (training will be provided).
Soft Skills:
Creativity to devise new ways of finding potential customers and connecting with investors.
Effective communication skills to craft personalized and compelling emails.
Empathy to understand and address the needs of investors and potential customers.
Dependability to consistently meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
Openness to receiving positive and constructive feedback.
Expectations:
Full-time Availability: We require a commitment of 40 hours per week.
Exclusive Employment: The selected candidate must dedicate their time solely to this role.
Permanent Position: This is a long-term position offering stability and growth opportunities.
Delivery-based Employment: Employment is contingent upon your ability to consistently meet deadlines. We allow three chances to miss deadlines within a year.

Flexible Working Hours: While we are based in the United States, you have the freedom to work according to your preferred schedule, as long as you can accommodate three 15-minute meetings per week and fulfill your tasks effectively.
Communication and Task Reporting:
You will be required to send daily emails, including:
Progress Update: Detailing the tasks completed during the day.
Challenges Faced: Identifying any obstacles or difficulties encountered.
Assistance Required: Communicating any areas where you need support.
Tomorrow’s Plan: Outlining your planned tasks for the following day.
Task Management and Collaboration:
All tasks will be organized using Trello. Before each task, we will establish clear expectations regarding what needs to be done, how it should be accomplished, the desired frequency of progress updates, deadlines, and opportunities for brainstorming and training. Additionally, each task will have a dedicated spreadsheet on Google Spreadsheets that must be updated daily.
Weekly Schedule:
Monday: New task briefing or continuation of the current task. Regular meeting to provide updates and discuss any support requirements. Email daily progress and update work files on Google Drive.
Tuesday to Thursday: New task briefing or continuation of the current task. Email daily progress and update work files on Google Drive.
Friday: New task briefing or continuation of the current task. Email daily progress, update work files on Google Drive, and engage in feedback and constructive discussion. Payday through PayPal.
Onboarding:
During the first week, we will have daily hour-long meetings to provide you with the necessary tools, including contact information exchange (email, WhatsApp), major task discussions, and training on the tools required for the role.
Payments and Benefits:
Payments will be made weekly for the first two months and biweekly thereafter. Salary will increase every four months, and a 13th-month bonus will be provided in December (pro-rated). Paid time off is available with prior 24-hour notice, and holidays specified in the job post are paid holidays.
