We have an awesome opportunity for a Virtual Assistant superstar to join our small team.

We have well documented procedures in our online portal. You will be working directly with us and not dealing with an outsourcing company.

A THE ROLE

We are looking at an experienced administration officer, with excellent written and spoken English. You will spend your time adding value in administration functions, document template creation and marketing activities.

This role is Monday to Thursday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm AEST (GMT +10), a total of 36 hours per week.

B SPECIFICS OF THE ROLE

Responsibilities included in this role are:

B.1 TEMPLATE MANAGEMENT – approximately 40% of the role

# Assistance with maintenance of Document Templates using Word Merge features
B.2 ADMINISTRATION SUPPORT – approximately 40% of the role
# Filing of emails generated by accountants into our document management system
# Sending of invoices and other client correspondence
# Collation of final reports
# Assistance in accurate management of incoming and outgoing client records
# Accurate data entry as requested
# Assist with email management for team members
B.3 MARKETING SUPPORT – approximately 20% of the role
# Assist with Marketing activities

Essential skills and attributes include:

# Six months experience working with an offshore team speaking and writing in English
# Excellent written and spoken English
# Excellent ability in Microsoft Word
# Willingness to be part of a small team and lighten the load of several busy professionals
# Ability and willingness to follow our well-documented procedures
# Ability to understand the end goal of assigned tasks
# Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
# Ability to effectively communicate with team at all levels
# Comfortable to work in an on-screen environment – we run a paperless office
# Client and Team focussed

# Advanced computer skills are essential, and you will be tested prior to interview

C WHO ARE WE?

Our CEO has two businesses – Cascade Accounting & Tax and Wise Owl Legal. This role will work across both businesses. We value people who are self-motivated, great communicators and keen to learn new things. Process automation is paramount, and you need to have a can-do attitude towards computers.

D WORK SCHEDULE AND HOLIDAYS

The role is 36 hours per week, Monday to Thursday working Australian Hours.
We have a Christmas shutdown, generally of about 2 weeks.

PERKS AND BENEFITS

We pay in PHP directly to your bank account every second week for the preceding fortnight.
On completion of your 6 months’ probation, you will be entitled to pro-rata of 13th month pay.
We accrued 7% of your time worked as annual leave and 3.5 % of your time worked as sick leave; you are paid for all gazetted Australian (Brisbane) Public Holidays that fall on your work days.
