Assistant to the CEO and Business Manager
Focal Point is looking for a Virtual Assistant that will report to the CEO and Business Manager. As a Virtual Assistant, you will perform various administrative tasks for the CEO, including scheduling meetings/calls, making travel arrangements, executing tasks, and more. For the Business Manager, the Virtual Assistant will help with organizing and executing tasks, data management and report management. Opportunities to learn basic accounting tasks, human resource management, and task organization will present themselves as part of day-to-day operations. For this role, a strong Internet connection is required, along with experience using communication tools like Slack or Microsoft Teams.
The role will include but not limited to:
– Calendar management
– Scheduling meetings/calls
– Screening emails
– Responding to emails
– Responding to LinkedIn messages
– Booking travel
– Executing tasks
– Invoice processing
– Basic accounting tasks
– Expense report management
– Data management
What You’ll Bring to the Role:

Preferred Experience
– Previous experience as a virtual assistant or related role
– Strong working knowledge of MS Office and/or GSuite (specifically word-processing and spreadsheet software)
– Experience with online meeting software (like Zoom or GoogleMeet and group sharing platforms like Slack or Microsoft Teams)
– Proficient with online calendars and scheduling (like Calendly or Google Calendar)
– Excellent writing, verbal communication, and time management skills
– Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to complete tasks
– Good spoken and written communication skills (English)
