I’m a copywriter and course creator who needs help with odds and ends. As we get our groove going, I’ll likely expand your tasks/hours if you have availability.

TASKS:
Socials
-Create social post graphics in Canva using existing templates and copy I write
-Add hashtags, links, and signatures as needed
-Schedule social content in advance (with provided dates)
-Possible Future Tasks: Assess which dates/times are working best and take over date assignments. Interact on social media/checking inbox.
Research
-I provide a company’s website, you find a specific contact person and their email address (I’ll show you how)

Website
-Creating a blog template, adding blogs regularly
-Update my portfolio/pages on my website
-Add landing pages for lead magnets/freebies
Email
-I’m building an email list and could use help with the backend of ConvertKit. I write, you design and schedule.
Course Creation
-Possible Future Tasks: Creating fillable PDFs, presentation slides in Canva (with provided assets), adding subtitles to videos
Misc
-Some projects will require the use of ChatGPT. I provide the prompts, you evaluate the outcome, edit, and send to me for final edits.
-Many projects will require you to run copy through Grammarly (proofing me) and decide which corrections need to be made (I’ll show you how to decide).
REQUIREMENTS:
-Write in fluent English
-Experience using a social media scheduling tool like
-Familiarity with Slack, Miro, Google Docs/Word, Google Sheets/Excel
-An understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn and basic hashtag/linking conventions
-Ability to sign up for/use free tools like Grammarly, ChatGPT, and Canva
-An eye for what looks good in a social media post (I provide the assets, you put them together)
-Be a bit of a detective — find the right person, their email, or info (Google, LinkedIn, )
-Attention to detail, ability to act on feedback, time-management/planning, and communication
-Ask questions and collaborate! If there’s a better way to do something, I want to know about it
Future tasks may need
-WordPress/Elementor familiarity (for posting blogs/updating a website)
-ConvertKit skills would be a plus (segmenting, creating templates, scheduling sends)
This sounds like a lot — all job postings are a wish list anyway. If you’re missing one or two of these things but you’re eager to learn, I can train you! What I can’t train is a great work ethic and agreeable, “let’s do this right” type attitude. That’s more important to me than the list.
PROVIDED:
-Full video training for each task (5 minute videos, bill for the time you’re training)
-Access to social media scheduling tool and possibly other tools (like email) later
-Work on your own time as long as tasks are done on time (NO last-minute or 24 hour turnaround tasks)
-A Miro board with tasks, deadlines, links to resources, and a place for you to indicate “this is done”
-Slack access for quick daily reports and questions
-Flexibility: If you learn better with written instructions instead of videos, let me know. If you hate minute-to-minute time tracking, let’s do something else. Your time is valuable. Tell me if something is getting in the way of your life/your enjoyment of the job. I’ve worked for some horrible bosses and I don’t want to be one.
HOURS:
2-3 hours/week to start (likely to go up if we’re a good fit)
RATE:
$6/hour
