We are a family-oriented bookkeeping firm located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We work with cool and creative clients that we provide bookkeeping services for. Clients and their accountants depend on us to make sure they can rely on their books. We work remotely in the cloud with QuickBooks Online, 3rd Party Apps and integrations. You will assist our management team with administrative tasks, bookkeeping functions and support the overall operation of the business. Because we do a great job, we’re growing and are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Virtual Assistant with a bookkeeping background to join our team.

This remote position requires excellent communication skills, experience with bookkeeping software, and the ability to multitask effectively. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Qualifications:
-You are conscientious and love to learn.
-You can communicate well in both verbal and written English.
-You have a thorough understanding of office procedures and proven experience as a virtual assistant or administrative assistant.
-Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and procedures.
-Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Dropbox and Google Drive.
-Some experience with a QuickBooks Product or experience with Apps such as Hubdoc, QB Time (T-Sheets), Dext, RBC PayEdge, Plooto, Shopify or Expensify would be an asset.
-You have a strong internet connection and can work independently and collaborate with the team through Zoom, email and Slack messaging
-Excellent organizational and time management skills.
-Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
-Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
-High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications as an Administrative Assistant or Bookkeeper are a plus.
