Job Description

We are seeking a Virtual Assistant to support our growing business in the talent development and podcasting industry. We are looking for a dynamic and organized individual to help us manage various aspects of our online presence and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
Prepare and post daily content on LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
Monitor and engage with the online community.
Schedule posts for optimal engagement.
Podcast Episode Editing:
Edit podcast episodes to ensure high-quality audio and content.
Upload episodes to hosting platforms.
Guest Outreach and Podcast Management:
Research and identify potential podcast guests relevant to our industry.
Contact and schedule appointments with guests.
Communicate all necessary details and requirements for podcast appearances.
Develop guest descriptions and interview scripts.
Content Creation:
Edit and create visually appealing graphics, videos, and text for social media posts.
Brand Identity Development:
Assist in creating and maintaining a consistent brand identity for Afrotalentaccelerator.
Collaboration Search and Communication:
Identify opportunities for cross-collaborations with relevant partners or influencers.
Initiate and manage communication with potential collaborators.
Qualities and Skills We’re Looking For:
Social Media Savvy: Proficient in using social media platforms and familiar with content scheduling tools.
Content Creation Skills: Strong video, photo, and text editing skills using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
Podcast Experience: Experience in podcast editing and management is a plus.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to interact professionally with potential podcast guests, collaborators, and our online community.
Creativity: Capable of generating creative content ideas and contributing to the development of our brand identity.
Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and attention to detail to meet deadlines and schedules.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in various software and tools relevant to the tasks.
Problem Solver: The ability to troubleshoot and find solutions independently.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies as the industry evolves.
