This is a part-time role reporting to the President and Founder. You will be in a remote role and be available for correspondence from 9am-5pm Eastern Time Zone, Monday-Friday. However, performing work outside of those working hours is fine. There could be the occasional need for work outside those hours and on weekends; although, those would be rare.
The VA will have the following primary responsibilities:
1. Social media management, posting, editing, research, and potentially writing. The primary tools are LinkedIn, HubSpot generated newsletter, and a Wix website with the opportunity to branch out elsewhere.
2. Conduct research of software packages, marketing techniques, “competitors”, and LinkedIn influencers. The research would be CFO focused or be financial related.
3. Assist with implementation of platform. Potentially own platform operations for business.
4. Other potential future work: personal and professional administrative tasks including, but not limited to, booking appointments, excel, Quickbook, coordinating travel, and ordering gifts, etc.
Proficiencies:
Quality Communication: The VA must be an excellent communicator, in both written and oral form. This includes proficiency in spelling, grammar, and punctuation whether editing or copywriting.
High Level of Discretion: Since the VA will regularly work with or be privy to confidential information, discretion and sensitivity regarding all information is a must.
Anticipating Needs: As part of the commitment to enabling the Founder to improve the business and serve clients, the VA will strive to anticipate needs and eliminate friction at work whenever possible. This means you know how to stay five steps ahead, clearing the path for him for other priorities.
Affinity for Technology: The VA will be technologically savvy and will not be intimidated by learning or proposing new technologies. The Founder is dedicated to driving efficiency and improvement throughout the business via processes, software, apps, etc. Proficiency in the following tech platforms is ideal: Google Suite (Email, Meeting, Sheets, Time, etc), HubSpot, Microsoft Office Suite, Wix, and LinkedIn. QuickBooks, Excel, and Honeybook are nice to have.
Proactive & Organized: The VA needs to be deeply organized and detailed oriented with a proactive desire for improvement.
Experience: 1-3 years supporting executive or founder; dealing with financial information is preferred; Consulting, professional services, or finance industry preferred.
