Virtual Assistant

LAM LEGAL – TRIAL LAWYERS is a progressive, growing law firm, seeking a Virtual Assistant with strong English, and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) interpersonal communication and sales skills, with extensive experience in picking up phone calls and following up with potential clients.

Please note that Chinese language is a strong asset.

The duties will include:

– Receiving all incoming sales calls
– Call and continue to follow-up with all leads that have not been spoken to
– Obtaining information from all potential clients with a sales script
– Filtering the leads into whether they should be pursued or dropped
– Booking appointments with qualified sales leads into lawyers’ calendars
– Conducting conflict checks of the sales leads and obtain IDs prior to consultation
– Follow up with consultations to ensure they have the information (address, billing info, etc.) and are attending the consultation
– Revising retainer agreements with lawyer’s input
– Repeated follow up with all sales leads after attending consultation
– Answer sales leads questions about consultation and closing the sale
– Assist with billing for the consultations – inputting into accounting software and sending bill to client
– Responding to website inquiries
– Answering the leads questions over e-mail before it reaches the lawyer (whenever possible)

Potential future tasks might include:

– Providing quotes to the leads based on their case
– Filtering leads or securing client retainers without booking a consultation with a lawyer
– Upkeeping company’s marketing strategy, including Google Ads and SEO

This is a full-time, 8 hours per day, Monday – Friday, salaried position with bonuses on top of fixed salary for a certain number of successful leads converted to clients. Please note that this position requires working remotely 9 am – 5 pm Pacific Standard Time (Vancouver, BC, Canada) and 100% stable high speed internet to receive all the phone calls via Microsoft Teams. Some afterhours and weekend work may occasionally be required.
