We are a dynamic and growing video marketing business dedicated to helping businesses tell their story through powerful visual content. As part of our expansion, we are seeking a skilled Virtual Assistant with a strong background in accounting and financial management to join our team.

Responsibilities:
As our Virtual Assistant specialising in accounting and financial management, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and organised records of all financial transactions.

Expense Tracking:
Track and categorise business expenses, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

Tax Obligations:
Understand and manage all tax obligations, including income tax, GST, and other relevant taxes.

Quarterly BAS:
Prepare and lodge quarterly Business Activity Statements (BAS) in compliance with regulations.

Income Reporting:
Generate reports detailing business income from various sources.

Deductions:
Identify and claim eligible tax deductions for business expenses.

Financial Statements:
Prepare monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheets.

Budgeting:
Collaborate with management to develop and maintain a comprehensive business budget.

Payment Tracking:
Monitor and track client payments, sending reminders for overdue invoices.

Monthly Reporting:
Prepare a monthly financial summary, highlighting key metrics and trends.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant with a focus on accounting and financial management.
Strong understanding of tax regulations, BAS lodgement, and financial reporting.
Proficient in accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with the team and clients.
