We are looking for a Virtual Assistant and Bookkeeper.

We are a growing software and recruiting company based in the USA.

We are looking to add to our team outstanding individuals who can work full time in a professional environment and wish to grow with an exciting and dynamic organization.

If you are the person that fixes something right away or cleans a counter without being asked then you are what we are looking for. Likely, you love to create and write and you are perfectly fluent in written English. Please keep reading if you are. If not then : (

It is critical that you are EXTREMELY reliable, proactive, love to write and create, and have a positive no-excuse attitude. Your written English must be excellent!! Hopefully better than my own and I seem to write all day… Your English must be excellent but we can train you in other areas. : )

**** VIRTUAL ASSISTANT REQUIREMENTS ****
*** Your responsibilities will include ***
Researching companies and providing summarized updates
Building lists of key business contacts, leads, candidates
Setting appointments
Scheduling and coordination of candidates
Preparing and scheduling events for our Founders Roundtable
Building social media presence by curating and writing articles and creating posts.

**** BOOKKEEPER REQUIREMENTS ****

Documenting transaction details
Putting together financial reports
Fact-checking accounting data
Notify senior staff of any accounting errors
Calculate interest charges
Recording financial transactions
Tracking payroll data

***Daily Email Reports (Required)***
Communication is key! Make sure that you send an email report every day.

***You’re being paid to think!***
You were hired to think, not just work. There will be many times that you are working on a task or training, and you’ll realize that there may be a better, faster, easier way to perform the project than the way that it’s explained. You might have or invent a trick or hack that makes a process easier. Speak up! We want to make our systems better and you’re an integral part of that. If there’s a list that needs to have something added to it, a procedure that’s not clear, there’s a broken link… anything that can make our operations better, let someone know who can make the change.

There will be times when you need clarification or further information. Just ask!
You were hired because I believe that you’re an asset to our team. That doesn’t mean that I expect you to be able to do everything. You may get stuck working on something or you may be asked to perform a task that you’re not trained for. If this happens, please let me know and we’ll help! The worst thing you can do is stop communicating.

***Employment Information***
You will generally be working on Philippine time during the day (not US time) unless you’re making calls to the US. You may divide your time the way that best works for you, but you’ll need to include your standard working hours inside your profile.

You will have a trial period to see how you fit with our team and to measure the quality and quantity of your work. This is usually between 1 and 3 months and will be paid during this time. (We want you to succeed.)

You will be paid every 2 weeks at the beginning and middle of the month. You will need to send an invoice for every pay period in order to be paid.

You will receive a 13th month bonus in December of each year (prorated for however many months you have been employed with the company)

You will have 2 weeks of paid time off each year. (In addition to holidays.)
1 week must be taken between Christmas and New Years
1 week or individual days can be taken anytime with 3 days advance notice (provided that no major projects fall within that time frame)
You may take additional unpaid time off if you work it out in advance.

We are flexible with compensation for the right person.
