We are looking to hire an assistant to support our finance department.

Non Negotiable Requirements:
– Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
– Past experience and expertise in the mortgage or banking industry is required
– Willingness to learn and accept challenges
– Internet reliability and back up (need to be online)
– Need to be trustworthy and offer care, knowledge and efficiency
– Skillset – AOL (ApplyOnline)
– You are a problem solver and adaptable to change

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Initial Data Entry and Client Engagement
– Send privacy & document collection request
– Credit checks via Equifax – scan for adverse or anomalies (need to configure access)

Pick Anomalies or Document Verification
– Download files from collection systems & apply naming convention to each file
– Scan for validity of each file – date range, expiry date, clarity/legibility
– Data entry to Customer Relationship Management Tools
– Cross check Veda report liabilities to Vownet and input
– Generate SOCA (compliance docs)
– Push data into AOL and remedy all or most red crosses
– Send SOCA and lender (if applicable) to client via DocuSign or relevant tools
– Upload supporting docs to AOL
– iLovePDF to merge/separate/compress
– Complete Lender calcs but Broker to confirm figures
– Brokerpedia and Lender policies

Pre-lodgment duties
– Lender Pricing Tools
– Order valuations
– Lender Servicing calc
– Broker notes – brief only, Broker or Associate to complete

Serviceability
– Quickli servicing
– Refinance plus cashout
– Purchases
– Self Employed
– Complex Transactions or multiple Properties

Completing missing information
– During the interview
– Complete BID questions from Broker form
– Complete missing A&L
– Complete missing info in CRM/AOL
– residential & employment history (dates)
– Liabilities – interest rates, repayments, IO or P&I, asset linked to, etc
– Number of dependents and ages
– Check SOCA and recommend amendment(s) as necessary

Post Lodgement
– Checking and Updating on application status
– Attending to missing information & conditionals
– Progressing deals to settlement – followup & escalations
– Completing Discharge forms when deal is formal
– Dealing with Solicitors/Lenders/Settlements Team

Database maintenance
– Update loan amount on CRM and other checks?
– Followup – Customer Rating systems
– Referral Partner setup
– Active Pipe or something similar

Soft Skills
– Remove low value activities from your day
– Allow you more time for your higher-value activities
– Finding & nurturing new clients – Cross sells
– Who’s who in the zoo? i.e. BDMs & contact details
– Communication Style with client
