Job Description

We are looking for a part time (20 hrs/week) virtual assistant specializing in short-term rental management for our airbnb/VRBO properties in the US. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the vacation rental industry, exceptional organizational skills, and proficiency in using relevant property management tools. You will do variety of tasks, but primarily will be responsible for handling potential issues raised by the guests during their stay

Required:
– Prior experience with managing airbnb properties
– Good communication skills with fluency in English
– Availability during US ET hrs (fast response time)
– Experience in using software such as Guesty for Hosts, Asana, Canva, Slack
– Quick to learn
– Problem solving skills
– Detail-oriented and organized
– Ability to meet deadlines
– Can work independently and under pressure
– Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
– Can read critically and follow instructions
– Must be able to work at a flexible time (including evenings, weekends, holidays and daytime)
– Fast and reliable internet connection

Desirable (but not required for applying):
– Experience is Social Media management is a plus
– Can photoshop and Video editing
– Bookkeeping or Accounting.
(A background in Finance is a big plus).

Pay: TBD, this will depend on your level of skill and other people that apply to the job.

You will be:
– Responding to queries from airbnb/vrbo guests (most of the query handling will be automated)
– Manage check in and check out
– Problem solving for any issues which may arise during the stay
– Coordinating with cleaners and maintenance people
– Writing and monitoring guest reviews
– Preparing Guest guide book for the property
– Ensure timely maintenance of the property through follow up
– Help with bookkeeping
– Manage and update reports/documents in a timely manner
– Manage inventory and order supplies
– Keep airbnb/vrbo listing updated
– Other Admin tasks such as researching items, supplies or tools.
– Specialized work in financial auditing and budgeting is a significant priority

About Ikigai Destinations:
Currently Ikigai destinations own three properties in the US with a possibility of adding more properties by the end of the year. The company has plans to add a few more properties every year.
