Virtual Assistant for E-Commerce (General Skills)
Position: Virtual Assistant
Location: Remote
Hours: 8-10 hours per day
Compensation: $3 per hour (starting rate, with potential for increase based on performance)
Contract: Long-term
Days Off: 1 day off per week
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Virtual Assistant with general e-commerce skills to join our team. This is a long-term contract position that requires a commitment of at least 8 hours per day, with the possibility of working up to 10 hours. The ideal candidate will have experience with Shopify, product research, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
Shopify Management:
Create, edit, and manage product listings on Shopify.
Ensure the Shopify store is up-to-date with accurate product information and appealing visuals.
Product Research:
Conduct thorough market research to identify trending products.
Analyze competitors and recommend potential products for listing.
Source products from reliable suppliers.
Customer Support:
Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, and social media.
Resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Order Processing:
Process orders accurately and ensure timely fulfillment.
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics to manage inventory and shipments.
Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels and update inventory records regularly.
Work with the procurement team to replenish stock as needed.
Marketing Support:
Assist in executing marketing campaigns, including email marketing and social media promotions.
Help create engaging content for social media and the Shopify store.
Data Entry and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions.
Generate regular reports to track store performance and key metrics.
General Administrative Tasks:
Handle various administrative duties as assigned.
Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with Shopify, product research, and customer support.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with e-commerce tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace.
