We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Virtual Assistant for Music Entrepreneur to join our growing music-focused business. As a Virtual Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing efforts and providing administrative assistance. This position offers an opportunity to be a part of our entrepreneurial journey and contribute to the success of our online program for adult amateur trumpet players.
**Main Tasks / Responsibilities**
1. Social Media Management: Schedule and post content on Facebook, and possess a deep understanding of social media practices, including hashtags and keywords. Stay updated on Instagram trends and contribute to our expansion on that platform.
2. Website Assistance: Support in website design and maintenance tasks to ensure a user-friendly and visually appealing online presence.
3. Graphic Design: Create banners for events, and Facebook/Instagram posts using templates, and assist with designing events and lead materials. Proficiency in tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or similar software is desired.
4. Video Editing: Edit videos for promotional purposes and assist in creating engaging multimedia content.
5. Calendar and Scheduling: Coordinate with speakers and participants, manage the program calendar, and utilize tools like for task completion.
6. Organization and Client Support: Organize program materials, assist clients with their queries, and generate client reports and files.
**Requirements**
– Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a virtual assistant.
– Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. The business owner is a big-picture thinker and desires an assistant who can help bring those ideas to life by organizing them into tactical details.
– Patience and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
– Honesty, transparency, and effective communication skills.
– Basic knowledge of music, preferably with a brass background.
– Comfortable and interested in exploring new software and applications to enhance productivity.
**Skill preferences (not required, but would be a PLUS)**
– Extended graphic design experience and/or education in addition to the primary job requirements.
– Candidates who are also brass musicians. This adds to the understanding of the business in its admin and marketing roles.
– Enjoys working with computers and exploring new software and apps, exploring ways to be more efficient with tech tools.
**Budget and Hours:**
– Hourly rate: $10–12 per hour
– Working hours: 10–15 hours per week, with flexibility based on availability
– Flexible Philippine Time with check-in meetings weekly in Mountain Standard Time.
