Job Description

Are you a virtual assistant who can help with administrative duties in Shopfiy such as updating a spreadsheet of orders, keeping a calendar updated and also marketing duties such as sending templated emails? If you are organized, a fast learner, upbeat and can follow specific instructions, this virtual assistant position might be great for you.

I am a small business owner who owns a sewing studio in the US. I teach in person sewing classes and also have an online membership and online courses. I’ve been in business since 2017.

Your specific daily duties would be:
Daily
-add registrations to a spreadsheet in a particular order
-send after class follow up emails
-send outreach emails to particular segments of people

Monthly – 1 x per month for a few hours:
-add classes and descriptions to Shopify
-add classes to a calendar
-make updates to the calendar when requested
-possibly help with other duties such as facebook ads and social media if you have skills related to this (see below)

Required skills:
-Experience using Shopify – you are familiar with the platform and how it works such as how to add new products, variants and make them active and live on the side
-Google docs and sheets
-Experience with email marketing – experience with convertkit is ideal since that is what I use

Good to have:
-if you are skilled at creating and managing facebook ads
-if you are familiar with kajabi and various ways courses are launched
-if you can also do social media managmenent such as having a content schedule and posting content
-You know how to use zapier
-All the other platforms / software I use in addition to Shopify – if you are familar with any of them, that is helpful: Kajabi, Convertkit, leadpages, Zapier, Mighty Networks.
