Job Description

Location: Remote (Must be available between 5-10 AM AEST)
Hours: Part-time, 10-15 hours per week

About You:
You are a highly organised, efficient, and tech-savvy professional with experience in virtual assistance. You have a strong background in software development project management tools, especially GitHub and Notion, and are proficient in managing communications via Slack and email. You are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and excellent at prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment. You possess outstanding research and writing skills and are comfortable with data entry and managing social media. Familiarity with scheduling and online shopping platforms, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving, will make you a perfect fit for this role.

Responsibilities:
– Monitor and manage communications through Slack and emails, prioritising and addressing urgent matters promptly.
– Assist in planning and organising the daily and weekly schedule, including setting reminders for important tasks and deadlines.
– Perform data entry and maintain up-to-date records in GitHub and Notion for project management purposes.
– Research various topics as needed and provide summaries and insights.
– Manage social media accounts, including planning and posting content once or twice a week.
– Support with online tasks such as booking events, online shopping, and any other personal errands that can be managed virtually.
– Keep track of and remind about personal and professional commitments to ensure nothing is overlooked.

Skills and Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a virtual assistant, particularly in roles requiring the management of project workflows and communications.
– Strong familiarity with GitHub, Notion, Slack, and email management.
– Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
– Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
– Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing is a plus.
– Quick learner with a problem-solving attitude and an ability to work independently.

Bonus skills:
– Experience with Shopify
– Lover of puzzles, e.g. Crosswords, quizzes
