Virtual Assistant for Title Company — A+ English Writing and Speaking Skills Required

JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking to hire a full-time Virtual Assistant at our Title Company. We are a fun and growing US-based Title Company that is looking for a full-time addition to our team.

The Virtual Assistant (VA) will need to work from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Time. The VA will work closely with our managers to ensure that the escrow ledger is always accurate and that all income and expenses are accounted for.

Specifically, we are looking for someone with EXCELLENT organizational skills and EXCELLENT English writing and speaking skills who can perform the following tasks:

— Reviewing escrow deposits, checks, and wires —
The VA will review each transaction in the escrow account to ensure that funds are categorized, posted to the correct account, and reflected accurately in the escrow ledger.

— Daily and monthly escrow reconciliations —
Clear items in the escrow ledger by matching them to the corresponding transactions on the bank statement. Perform full three-way escrow reconciliations; work with settlement agents to research, document, and resolve discrepancies.

— Tracking business income and expenses —
The VA will be responsible for processing expense reports as well as categorizing income and expenses using Quickbooks Online. Track invoices and ensure that vendors are paid promptly.

— Auditing and updating policies and procedures —
The VA creates and maintains standard operating procedures and audits closed files for compliance with our best practices. The VA also creates meaningful, accurate, and digestible reports for management on an as-needed basis.

REQUIREMENTS: The following skills and characteristics are required:
– Great English writing and speaking skills
– Comfortable using software (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Quickbooks, Qualia, Simplifile, PowerBI)
– Honest and hardworking

– Fast learner
– Works well with others (We already have one outstanding, full-time Filipina on our team)
– Not afraid to ask questions and provide feedback
– At least two (2) years of previous experience working as an Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Escrow Assistant

This job is not for companies, contractors working for multiple clients, or those who have never worked online before. Because this is a full-time job, side-projects are not allowed.

DESIRED PAY RATE: 30,000 PHP per month (raises will be given every year).

BENEFITS: We pay a 13th month bonus (equal to the average of one month’s pay). You can also request time off and vacation time as needed (time off / vacation is not paid).

LOCATION PREFERENCE: Philippines

HOURS PER WEEK: 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday). Working on weekends is never required.

WORKING HOURS: Working hours are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Time. (Philippine Time: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am from November to March, 9:00 pm to 5:00 am from March to November).

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Salary will be paid via bank transfer every 2 weeks. This job requires a high-speed Internet connection. You are expected to work from your own home.

Our team uses Gusto to track time.
