Job Description

As a virtual assistant for the launch of a alkaline vegan-based restaurant inspired by Latino and soul food, your primary role will be to provide support and assistance to the owner in various aspects of the business. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Finding a Ghost Kitchen:
– Conducting research to identify potential ghost kitchens in Houston, TX.
– Contacting and negotiating with ghost kitchen providers to secure a suitable location.
– Assisting in reviewing lease agreements and coordinating necessary paperwork.

2. Menu Creation:
– Collaborating with the owner to develop a menu that aligns with the restaurant’s concept and target audience.
– Conducting market research to identify popular vegan dishes with a Latino and soul food twist.
– Assisting in sourcing high-quality ingredients and ensuring menu items are cost-effective.

3. Market Analysis:
– Conducting thorough market analysis to determine the best location in Houston, TX to launch the restaurant.
– Researching competitor restaurants and identifying their strengths and weaknesses.
– Analyzing local demographics, trends, and customer preferences to develop effective marketing strategies.

4. Administrative Support:
– Providing general administrative support such as managing emails, scheduling appointments, and handling phone calls.
– Assisting in organizing and maintaining important documents, contracts, and financial records.
– Coordinating meetings and liaising with various stakeholders, including suppliers and contractors.

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a virtual assistant or in a similar administrative role.
– Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
– Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
– Proficiency in using virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom, Google Docs, and project management software.
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
– Familiarity with the Houston, TX area is a plus.
