REQUIREMENTS:
• Successful candidate must have an associate degree in HR or a related field (bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an administrative role
• Candidate must have strong communication skills
• Candidate must be able to quickly resolve people’s problems
• Candidate must be familiar with database systems and common HR applications
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative support – Managing HR documents, files, and databases, including organizing and maintaining employee records and ensuring data accuracy of all posted job adverts.
Recruitment assistance – Posting job listings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication with job applicants.
Onboarding and offboarding – Assisting with the onboarding process for new hires, which includes paperwork and reports, orientation, and training logistics. Also, handling exit processes for departing employees.
Benefits administration – Supporting employees with benefits inquiries, enrollment, and documentation.
Employee relations – Responding to routine employee inquiries, forwarding more complex issues to HR managers, and maintaining confidentiality.
Compliance and policy management – Ensuring that HR policies and procedures are current and assisting with compliance-related tasks.
Employee communications – Distributing HR-related communications, updates, and notices to employees.
Data reporting – Generating HR reports and analytics to help HR make informed decisions.
Calendar and schedule management – Managing HR managers’ calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments.
Training and development: Organizing training sessions and tracking employee development activities.
HR software and tools: Proficiency in using HR software and tools for various tasks, such as applicant tracking systems and communication platforms.
Research – Research HR best practices, industry trends, and compliance requirements.
Project support – Assisting HR managers in social human resource projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, diversity and inclusion programs, or HR audits.
General administrative duties—Handling general administrative tasks, including email correspondence, phone calls, and other clerical responsibilities, thus saving the human resource manager time.
