Resolve is an early-stage startup medical billing advocacy company – stepping in for patients with exorbitant medical bills and bringing costs down to manageable levels.

The US healthcare system is ridiculously complex and stacked against patients. Those without insurance pay massively inflated payments while those with insurance have to deal with out-of-network payments, claims denials, and a host of other issues. Everybody is affected by the myriad of errors within the system. We aim to change this.

We recently closed a seed round of venture capital led by Endurance Companies and including several leaders in healthcare and financial technology (notable including Founder/CEOs of Collective Medical, Funding Circle, and HireVue) and are looking to scale rapidly.

Advocate Manager / Virtual Assistant Manager
As an Advocate Manager, you will be responsible for managing our team of Virtual Assistants (Advocates) who are on the front lines helping lower medical bills for our patients. You will work closely with our Operations Manager and Senior Patient Advocates as they focus on our mission of ‘Making Healthcare Bills Fair.’

While there is no typical day at Resolve, initial responsibilities will include:
Managing Advocate workload
Hiring Advocates as we continue to grow
Building a strong team culture that aligns with our mission to help patients reduce medical debt
Setting metrics and goals for the team
Working on process improvements

Key Qualifications

Fluent in English both written and spoken
Flexible and Adaptable: we are an early-stage startup with a lot going on and everyone needs to be able to wear multiple hats
5+ years of management experience with 2+ years of remote management experience
Highly Organized: we need someone to bring order to chaos
Comfort with Technology: comfortable using multiple technology platforms and adapting to new technology
Full of Integrity: we work with highly sensitive patient information and need someone who will treat that information with the respect it deserves
Mission-Oriented: this isn’t just a 9-5 but a mission to change people’s lives

Job Benefits
Base salary commensurate with experience.
