Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Marketing Assistant to join our team and support various marketing-related activities at AlphaFund magazine. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for marketing and a keen eye for detail. From following up with interviewees to managing the publishing process, transcribing meeting notes, and leveraging content for podcasts and social media, the Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand presence and engaging our audience.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with interviewees to schedule interviews and manage the publishing process from content creation to distribution.
Transcribe meeting notes accurately and organize them into a weekly newsletter format.
Share summarized notes with interviewees for approval and collaborate with relevant parties for additional quotes.
Generate ideas for repurposing content in podcasts and assist in scripting podcast episodes.
Create and schedule engaging social media posts across relevant platforms.
Proactively search for interested parties, conferences, and strategic partnerships to expand AlphaFund’s reach.
Manage the founder’s personal LinkedIn profile, curating and scheduling posts to showcase thought leadership.
Monitor industry trends, conduct market research, and assist in developing marketing campaigns and strategies.
Requirements:
Prior experience in marketing, content creation, or related roles preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in using social media platforms for marketing purposes.
Familiarity with basic transcription tools and newsletter platforms.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for finance, investments, and entrepreneurship is a plus.
