Company Description:

I’m the Founder/CEO of a seed-stage, venture-backed tech startup in the travel tech / B2B Marketplace industry. I live in NYC and am looking for a Virtual Assistant to join our team, starting part-time (20 hours or so) but can quickly become full-time for the right person. You may also have the opportunity to work with other great people from my team as we are 10 people full-time with a few contractors, located 100% remotely.

Job Summary:

As a Virtual Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our marketing efforts, research tasks, and business development projects. Your responsibilities will include drafting social media posts, conducting research, assisting with business development tasks, and more. We value creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to drive success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

Draft engaging and compelling tweets, LinkedIn posts, and other social media content (possibly with help from ChatGPT)
Schedule and post content on various social media platforms (using Hypefury)
Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media

Research Tasks:

Prepare outbound email lists for marketing campaigns (using or similar tools)
Identify new leads and potential business opportunities (using LinkedIn)
Research podcasts, contact information, and other relevant data using tools and resources (using Google)

Business Development:

Log into my LinkedIn account and send connection requests with personalized messages.
Post updates to our Slack community and engage with members.
Assist in outreach and networking activities.

Content Creation:

Use ChatGPT and other tools to draft SEO-optimized blog posts, which you will then edit.
Create case studies
Write informative and engaging content for our website and marketing materials.

Other Tasks:

Provide administrative support as needed, including professional (like tax stuff, basic accounting, etc) and personal.
Assist with data entry, organizing files, and managing calendars.
Attend virtual meetings and take notes when required.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, preferably in marketing, research, or business development.
Proven experience working with startup CEOs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing tools, and research tools.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
High attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Basic knowledge of SEO and content creation is a plus.
Access to a stable internet connection and a reliable computer.
