Virtual Assistant – Medical Biller

Position: Medical Biller

Location: Remote (Work-from-Home)

Duties to include but are not limited to:
Charge Processing
Claims Submission
Rejection Management
Payment Posting
Denial Management
Accounts Receivable Management
Patient Statements and Collections
Insurance and Patient Refunds

Requirements:
– Minimum 2 years experience in Medical coding and billing
– Familiarity with healthcare billing regulations, including HIPAA compliance, to ensure adherence to legal standards.
– Strong understanding and application of medical coding systems.
– Willing to work full-time (40 hours per week) in US Eastern Standard Time (EST).
– Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients.
– Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.
– Ability to work independently and proactively.

Preferred Qualifications:
– Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment.
– Knowledge of Medicare
